Ugu (Fruited Pumpkin) is one of the many tasty soups in Nigeria. The soup derives its name from the Ugu leaf which is the major ingredient used in the soup. The soup is delicious, irresistible and as well medicinal as it is ideal for those recovering from illness. It is rich in all classes of food. So, it is very much needed for healthy living.

The onions adds special flavor to the soup. It plays a major role in the soup. It contains vitamins. You can get the onions from any foodstuff shop or market in Nigeria.
